Training & Contest Locations

For club officer trainings and contests, Toastmasters in Lubbock normally turn to one of several venues. Here are a list of those common venues and how to get to them.

Be sure to watch for the event's location to make sure you show up at the right venue. Also, please note that these are not the only venues we use, just the most common ones.

Texas Tech University's Escondido Theater

Tyler Technologies

5519 53rd St, Lubbock, TX 79413

Activities usually take place on the 2nd floor. Enter on the north side (facing 53rd street) and take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. There will be signs posted.

Orlando's Italian Restaurant

2402 Avenue Q, Lubbock, TX 79411

We normally using their private dining room on the south side of the building. Enter through the east door (facing Avenue Q) and turn to your left once you're through the foyer. Go through the set of accordion-style doors and you'll be in the training room. Sometimes, though rarely, we will meet in the semi-private dining room on the north side of the building.
