Stacy Cain Wins District Competition

Area 62 Governor Kerry Mobley, Stacy Cain, and Area
61 Governor Amber Marsh celebrate after Stacy's victory.
Distinguished Toastmaster Stacy Cain from Lubbock's Llano Estacado Toastmasters Club won the District 23 Speech Evaluation contest on Friday, October 24, 2014.

After being selected to represent her club, along with Taryn Colvin, another Llano member, Stacy went on to place second in the Area 61 Speech Evaluation Contest behind Articulate Toastmasters member Angelia Heare. At the Division F contest, Stacy won and moved forward to the District 23 contest where she faced off against five other competitors from all across the Oklahoma Panhandle, Western Texas, and New Mexico. After a round of six evaluations, Stacy emerged as the winner and brought the trophy back to Lubbock.

Stacy is a member of two clubs, Llano Estacado and South Plains Toastmasters. She also participates in many Toastmasters events around Lubbock such as the recent Rawls College of Business demonstration meeting.

Congratulations Stacy!
